roy milton passed away on the 9 of december after a long illness,he was 74 years old and lived a happy life married to kitty for 50 years.He had three children and seven grand children who he adored dearly.He had a number of jobs and lived in castleford all his married life,he had nine brothers and sisters.
He was a man of his word loved by everyone who met him,took the role of the father figure in his younger years for his siblings.He loved to take care of himself he was handsome and loved to dress as a teddy boy well known in knottingley where he was born.
He grew up on a farm that was next door to the salvation army in knottingley didnt have much money but had alot of love.
My uncle roy became ill at a cas tigers match and gradually got worse suffering from angina,diabetis and kidney trouble he put up a brave fight but in end he was tired and could fight no more.
Uncle roy you was the bravest man i know,You were my santa for so many years i phoned you every year and it was magical.There is a big hole in our lives now you have gone you will never be forgotten and i hope we meet again one day.
